Islam Hadhari - Principle #2
|
|
The second principle of Islam Hadhari: Fair and Trustworthy Government.
Well, before we can talk at government level, let's see how we can apply this concept daily at an individual level. Being fair means we treat people around us equally, regardless of race, religion, skin color and wealth. When we are being fair, people will treat us with respect. Of course in this world, there are many fair people being taken advantage of, so we have to stick together and remind each other not to become discouraged. We should encourage others to do good things and leave bad things. 'Bad things' refer to actions that are forbidden in the Quran. Remember we talked about faith in the first principle and always refer to Quran and Hadith to strength your faith? To know what is good and what is bad, Quran and Hadith have indicate this clearly.
Being trustworthy means perform the responsibilities given to you. The utmost important thing is responsibilities towards God, then to your parents, your family, your community and your country.
If we can implement these two principles in our daily lives, not only we are respected and trusted by other people, we also have increased our faith in God, get His blessings and He will give us all the weallth in this world that we can't even imagine 
So read your Quran, understand it and apply it.
Surah An-Nahl, :
| Quote: | 90] Sesungguhnya Allah menyuruh berlaku adil dan berbuat kebaikan, serta memberi bantuan kepada kaum kerabat dan melarang daripada melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan yang keji dan mungkar serta kezaliman. Dia mengajar kamu (dengan suruhan dan laranganNya ini), supaya kamu mengambil peringatan mematuhiNya.
[91] Dan sempurnakanlah pesanan-pesanan dan perintah-perintah Allah apabila kamu berjanji dan janganlah kamu merombak (mencabuli) sumpah kamu sesudah kamu menguatkannya (dengan nama Allah), sedang kamu telah menjadikan Allah sebagai Penjamin kebaikan kamu; sesungguhnya Allah sedia mengetahui akan apa yang kamu lakukan. |
| Quote: | [90] Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.
[91] Fulfil the Covenant of Allah when ye have entered into it, and break not your oaths after ye have confirmed them: indeed ye have made Allah your surety; for Allah knoweth all that ye do. |
