Elephant sanctuary - Lanchang, Pahang.

A day before Ibu moved back to Kuala Lumpur, Ayah took Ibu and Amin to visit elephants at Lanchang. We went there in the afternoon. Amin was sleeping when we arrived. When he woke up, he was surprised to see so many elephants around the area. All these times, he only saw elephants on tv and have an elephant puppet. He was not afraid, though. He fed the elephants and enjoyed seeing the baby elephants.

Ammar's Aqiqah was held on March 11, 2007 at Bentong, Pahang in the afternoon. Lots of people from the neighborhood came to welcome Ammar.

Our second baby, Ammar, was born on Feb. 5, 2007 at 3.30pm. His weight was 3.92 kg (about 8.6 lbs) and his length was 52.5 cm.
Currently, I'm staying at my in-laws for confinement. I'll be home in about 3 weeks, I'll update this FP with latest pictures.

Well, a week has gone by but still no sign of labor. Ibu's tummy has been tightening but not painful. Just feeling heavy and sometimes difficult to walk, always feels tired and sleepy, especially when Ibu gets up at night about 3 or 4 times. Hopefully baby is doing well inside.

Latest development - Amin and Ibu
|

Amin is getting smarter and more naughty every day. His favorite activity at home is to ride his 'small red car' around the dining and living area. Nowadays, he like to put things behind his back and take it for a ride. He has put a slipper, a towel, other toys, teddy bear, and he can also carry Ayah around. He also knows how to do a stunt (mat rempit style). I don't know where he gets this idea from.
Anyway, he has 11 teeth already and can say several words except calling me, Ibu.
 However, he understood when others ask him to go to Ibu. He would come to me and give me a kiss. But everytime he sees his father, he would say 'Ayah' , or see his grandfather, he would say 'Atuk'.
So what's happening with Ibu?
Ibu went for a doc's checkup last week. Doc said it could be anytime this week or next week based on the baby's position. Even before doc scan, he felt Ibu's tummy and could feel baby's shoulder already and that the baby's head was further down. Doc gave me another appointment's date on Feb. 2, but he said most likely baby will be out by then
So if after this you haven't heard anything from me, then you know I am on maternity leave already. Ibu will be in Bentong (at in-laws) during my confinement period, so most probably have very limited internet access.
Since Ibu can be in labor anytime, Ibu and Ayah decided to send Amin over to Bentong with his grandparents, uncles and aunty. Amin left last night and Ibu was so sad Ibu miss Amin a lot already. Even though it's really tiring nowadays to take care of him, Ibu miss having him around. Just because Ibu is going to have to spend more time with 2nd baby, it doesn't mean Ibu love him any lesser.

Last December entry - Putrajaya

Hi All,
Here are some pics of Amin at Putrajaya taken in December 2006. Ibu completely forgot to upload these pics. Since it was school break, Ibu asked nieces and nephews to go to Putrajaya for a boat ride and had a picnic. Luckily it wasn't raining that morning and afternoon. It was really hot in the afternoon, everybody was sweating riding the boat. Amin was ok at the beginning, but I guess after a while he couldn't stand the heat and especially with the life jacket on, he started to cry. Ibu could only stand and watch everybody else enjoying the ride...
After the ride, we ate and left at around 2pm. We stopped by at Alamanda for a couple of hours. Ibu got a new sandal.

2nd Pregnancy at 34 Weeks

Well, sure enough I am HUGE!!! Last week I checked my weight, I was already 75kg and I still have a few more weeks to go. Still, my hubby said I was not as huge as last time. Although my pregnancy weight was not much different than my first pregnancy, I do notice that I am not as bloated as last time. My fingers were not as fat. Only when I turned 8 months I cannot wear my wedding ring. When I was pregnant with Amin, I could not wear my wedding ring when I turned 6 months.
Other than that, I feel tired. Now my office has moved to Plaza Sentral, so everyday I would walk from KL Sentral to Plaza Sentral back and forth. If I weren't pregnant, it would probably take me 5 minutes to walk, but now with my huge belly, it takes me close to 10 minutes.
I've been getting my Braxton Hicks contraction now and then. I could feel the baby further down. Baby is usually active in the afternoon and evening. And baby definitely doesn't like it when I sleep on my left. Baby would just move around to tell me that baby is uncomfortable, so I usually sleeps on my right side.
Since I was 5 months pregnant, doc has been telling us that it will be a baby boy. Last time I checked at 31 weeks, it was obviously going to be a baby boy! The doc even printed out the picture from ultrasound for confirmation So Amin will have a brother to play and fight with.
Here is my body temperature chart and I knew I was pregnant when my temp stayed up on Day 30, but decided to wait one more day before I did a home test.
