First LRT Trip

Today morning, Ibu and Ayah decided to take Amin and Ammar for a breakfast in KLCC. Instead of driving there, we parked the car at LRT Setiawangsa station and took the train to KLCC. Amin was so excited. Everyday after pick up the boys from babysitter, we always pass by the train route and every time Amin would get excited to see a train. If he does not see any, he would keep asking where's the train. So today's trip was a big deal to him.
Amin's birthday is coming up next month, so after breakfast, we went shopping for Amin's clothes for his birthday party.

Ammar at 5-months
|
|
Today Ammar turns 5-months old. Gosh, he's growing so fast. He loves to smile. Every morning when he wakes up, he would look at me and give his BIG smile and I'll be melting away. And every day when I pick him up from babysitter, he wants me to hold him and feed him. Only when he get those things, I can leave him and play on his own or play with his big brother. Otherwise, he would scream and wants to be picked up. What a smart little guy 
Here are his progress:
1. Able to hold his head steady when in upright position.
2. Able to sit with an assistance, supported by pillow.
3. Loves to play with his hands. I gave him a soft toy and he just wants to grab it.
4. Mastered the art of rolling over and able to move around by pushing with his hand. Sorry to say that he has fell off bed once. I put him in the middle of the bed and surrounded by pillows, but I guess he started moving backward and push with his legs. Poor guy  He cried a bit but when I picked him up, he was ok.
5. Loves to suck his thumb, especially before going to sleep.
6. Loves to watch his reflection in mirror.

Morning at Tasik Titiwangsa
|
|
Sunday morning Ibu and Ayah decided to take Amin and Ammar to Tasik Titiwangsa. Usually we go there later in the afternoon, but it has been raining daily so morning would be better. There were quite lots of ppl exercising at the park that morning. There were also stalls selling variety of food for the 'Jom makan' festival (Let's eat festival). Just in case you don't know, this year is Visit Malaysia Year 2007, so there are lots of activities setup. So friends, when can I expect to see you in Malaysia? 
Amin had fun jogging with Ayah, wearing their Arsenal jersey  . He saw 2 horses and his jaw dropped, looking at the big horses.
When we got home, Amin was so tired.
Ammar relaxing in his stroller and fell asleep half of the time. At home, he likes to sit up and see the world.

Aktiviti Santai

For the past 2 weeks, we didn't have any specific plans. Here are some pics taken from our leisure activities.
Update on Amin:
Amin will turn 2 in August. He loves to say 'maanyak', meaning a lot. The correct pronounciation is 'banyak'. He would say 'car maaanyak', 'pish maanyak'. He says 'bus' for all big vehicles. When he sees people riding motorcycle, he will say 'abang motor'. At home, loves to play with his car collection.
Update on Ammar:
Ammar will turn 4 months old next week. He started to turn since last weekend. Everytime I put him down, he would turn and when he can't turn back, he would get angry  This is my 7-kg boy:

As usual, after logged in to my computer at work, I would go around blog/fp sites to read any updates. I was reading my dear friend's entry on What would you do with RM50? As I read through her entry, I could feel the lump on my throat and was about to cry. Quickly, I read other things to distract myself to make sure I did not cry in the office.
Since my 9.30am meeting was cancelled, I sat in front of my notebook and ask myself, how would I spend my RM50. Well, last night had dinner at Suria KLCC food court with my loving hubby and beautiful kids. That costs us almost RM20. Then, I stopped by at Elle and got two new sandals. Yes, I wrote correctly: two new sandals! And that cost me almost RM200
Surely, RM50 is not that much nowadays. My dear friend, EM, thank you for reminding me. The last time I made donations religiously was when I was pregnant. And I should continue doing it. Allah has given me so much and the least I could do is to give some back.
My dear Amin and Ammar, don't forget to bersedekah bila hidup di dalam kesenangan. Janganlah kedekut dgn Allah. Allah yg berkuasa utk memberi rezeki kepada sesiapa yg dikehendaki. InsyaAllah bila kita dlm kesusahan, Allah akan memudahkan jalan.

Ibu and Ammar

May 5th, 2007 is when Ammar turns 3 months old.
May 5th, 2007 is also the day Ibu turns 23, oppss.. perasan muda pulak .. actually, Ibu turns 32! Time just flies. Hmm.. what was I doing at 23? I was taking my Master's degree in Accounting Information Systems at Virginia Tech. Yes, that's the school where the shooting recently happened in the United States. Now, what am I doing at 32? I am a wife to Aswi and a mother to two beautiful children: Amin and Ammar.

Lumut Trip, May 2 - 5, 2007

We had a family trip to Swiss Damai Laut, Lumut, Perak from May 2nd till May 5th.
Itineraries:
May 2nd
- Left KL at 10am to Damai Laut.
- Stopped at Lumut Waterfront for lunch
- Checked in at Swiss Damai Laut Resort at 3pm
May 3rd
- Morning breakfast.
- Ayah, Cu Lily and Alang went for guided jungle trekking in the morning.
- Ibu, Ayah, Atok and Wan went to the Samsara Spa in the afternoon... Best
- Spent time by the beach and then by the pool.
- Went to Teluk Batik for dinner with our relative, Abg Li and family.
May 4th
- Breakfast and checked out at 11am
- Went to Pangkor Island for an island tour and shopping for the dried seafood.
- Came back from Pangkor Island at 4pm.
- Went to a relative's house at Teluk Intan for an overnight stay
May 5th
- Left Teluk Intan at 9.30am
- Arrive KL at 1pm

Weekend activities - Chamang Dam
|
|
We had a picnic at Chamang Dam. Amin had a blast. Ammar and Ibu had a good rest.
While Amin is having fun in the water with ayah, Ibu keep on eating and resting with Ammar.
