Lake Garden 11.11.2007

This is the first time we went to Lake Garden. Our initial plan was to go to FRIM because we never went there as well. But when we got there, we realized it was not suitable for Amin and Ammar. So we went back in the car and drove off to Lake Garden. By the time we got there it was 11.30am and getting hotter. Weather was nicer before 10am. Anyway, Ammar and I stayed under the shade. I fed Ammar his lunch. Amin was playing with Ayah at the playground. He was having so much fun.
After feeding Ammar, I put him on a swing and he enjoyed it very much. Here's the video using my camera phone.

Who turned 9 months?
|
|
At 9 months, I can:
a) speed crawl everywhere
b) stand holding on to someone or something
c) now wants to stand alone for a few seconds without holding on to anything
d) walk holding on to furniture
e) understands 'no' when Ibu and Ayah said so... but only stop for a brief moment and continue with what he's doing. 
f) has 5 teeth: 3 upper teeth and 2 lower teeth
g) like to 'collect' things on the floor
h) go to sleep at 9pm, the latest... wakes up twice at night for milk around 1am and 5am. Then wakes up at 7am and gives Ibu a big smile
i) drink 6 oz of milk every 2 - 3 hours. I can hold my own bottle!
j) enjoy playing with Abang Amin (when abang doesn't bite him or push him)

Busy Raya Weekend
|
|
Another busy raya weekend.
Saturday, November 3rd, 2007:
1. Went to Ley's open house, our x-schoolmate MRSM KT at Jln Kucing in the afternoon.
2. Went to Aswi's cousin for her daughter's aqiqah at 4pm until 6pm at Bukit Belacan, Ampang.
3. Went to FP BIG Gathering at Cyberjaya from 8 - 11pm.

Finally arrived home at 11.45pm.
Sunday, November 4th, 2007
Morning - afternoon: cooking and cleaning the apartment.
3pm - 6pm : Aswi's colleagues and their family came over for Raya.
Monday, November 5th, 2007
Makan-makan Raya with my colleagues. I prepared the food in advance and froze them. During lunch time, just put in microwave and heat the food... still yummy!

Company Annual Dinner - KLCC Convention Centre
|
|
Today, my company held its annual dinner at KLCC convention centre. Compare to previous annual dinners, this year is a bit dissapointing due to cost cutting exercises. No door gift, only one round of lucky draw (10 numbers) and the final 5 grand prize lucky draw. Most of the lucky draw prizes are shopping vouchers and most probably from Parkson. The grand lucky prize winner is a travel voucher to anywhere in the world and the second grand lucky prize winner is a travel voucher to anywhere in asia. The rest are just RM1000 and RM700 shopping voucher. The food was quite allright. Last year we had it at the same place but I was pregnant with Ammar, so didn't feel like dressing up. This year I thought just wear tops and pants (didn't feel like wearing baju kurung since raya dah banyak pakai baju kurung kan... )
With my colleagues:
This year, half of the entertainment is by the Comedy Court act.. it was funny but ok i guess. Most of their jokes are political so was quite bored actually. Then the last 45 minutes were by Anuar Zain (and all the time teringat kat Mak Jules - mama Iman), Sheila Majid, Camilla (or camilia???... entahlah.. ) and David Arumugam... First show by Anuar Zain, so dah kena serbu kat atas stage.. kelam kabut bodyguard. Most of these pictures were taken from big screen.. nak pegi ke pentas depan jauh bebenor... except pic of anuar zain giving his last performance.
The dinner officially ended at 11.45pm but continued with dance floor open with a live band. My colleagues and I joined the dance floor. The party continue till 2am but I left at a few minutes after midnight since hubby coming to pick me up... then continue with a dessert date dgn hubby kat bukit bintang. I have 2 brother in laws at home babysitting the kids... Thank you Asree and Asreen.... We didn't stay long.. Got home by 1.30am.

2nd Week of Eid/Hari Raya
|
|
2nd weekend of Raya, Ayah went outstation in Paris for one week, so only 3 of us left. So on Saturday, the 3 of us followed my family members visiting my younger sister's in laws at Damansara and then off to visit Pak Teh ( Tok Ma's youngest brother) at Shah Alam. He just bought a semi-D house there... it was huge and very nice! Amin had a blast there,playing with his cousins all afternoon. On the way back to Kajang, we stopped by at Alang Nuar's house and arrived Kajang at 8pm.

Amin and Ammar's duit raya
I also want to wish my dearest brother and sister happy birthday. My eldest brother's birthday was on Oct 15 and my elder sister was on Oct 17.
I made a 'Relaxing Birthday Gift Basket' for my sister. It contains a book (she's a book worm, so must have a book for her to relax  ), a bath salt (from Tanamera Spa), and a blueberry chocolate for her indulgence.
Slowly, I'm building my gift basket collection, which can be seen at Taman Anakku.

1. Story on Ammar
He's been crawling all over the house. I put him in front of tv/sofa and he crawled until under the dining chair
Abang Amin pulak, has been behaving good for the most part. When Ammar cries for attention, he would go to him and try to console his brother. He said "jap ammar.. jap"... meaning "wait ammar... wait". He would hug his brother. But, if Ammar still cries, then he would get fed-up I think, and he starts to push Ammar or smack Ammar's face  That's when I come to rescue Ammar and told Amin not to do that again.
2. Donation
Ramadan is the month where Muslims are encouraged to do a lot of good deeds. We should help the needy and hopefully, it will continue even after Ramadan. During Ramadan, we can see a lot of TV shows or advertisements asking for donation. However, after Ramadan we don't see them quite often. Ammar's progress
|
|
At 7 1/2 months, Ammar:
1. Can sit on his own from crawling position.
2. Has one teeth at the bottom.
3. Started to crawl. He has been under the dining table, half of his body under the bed.
4. Doesn't like to sleep in his baby cot anymore. He's too big for his baby cot. So now I put layers of comforter on the floor surrounded by pillows and he has plenty of place to roam around. He sleeps much better now and can toss and turn without being grumpy.
5. Probably reaches 9kg already.
6. Eats quite a lot.
7. Still wakes up usually twice at night.
