Chamang Dam

During the Chinese New Year long weekend, Ibu and Ayah took Amin and Ammar to Chamang Dam. This is Ammar's first time at Chamang Dam. He had a blast!

Late Entry III - Ammar's 1st Birthday
|
|
Ammar's 1st birthday was on Tuesday, Feb. 5 but we organized a small birthday party on Saturday, Feb. 2. We only invited Ibu and Ayah's family members. Ibu cooked rice, ikan bakar percik (baked fish), sambal sotong, sup sayur and sambal ikan bilis tempe. Ayah bought KFC, which is very famous among the kids

On the Feb. 5th itself, Ibu and Ayah took Ammar for his birthday dinner at Alexi's, Great Eastern Mall. Of course, Ibu and Ayah ate a lot more than Ammar He only had Minestrone soup but to my surprise, he finished all the pasta. Ibu ate the veggies  . After dinner, we stopped by to get a small cake at Strudels. Amin didn't join us because he was at Bentong with Atok and Wan.

Ibu had a seminar to attend on Sunday so Ayah had to take care of the two boys. Ayah took them to KLCC Park in the morning. Thank you Ayah! It was a very tiring day for Ayah

Late Entry I - Family Trip to Taiping and Cameron Jan 2008
|
|
On Saturday, Jan 6, we left for our family trip. This trip was supposed to be a relaxing trip for Ibu and Ayah.
Sunday, Jan 6 - arrived Taiping and stayed at Jana View Condotel. At night, we went to Zoo Taiping for the Safari. It was ok but Amin had fun since we took the mini train.
Monday, Jan 7 - morning went to Maxwell Hill. There was nothing really up there but area was refreshing. It was so foggy and couldn't see much. By 1pm, we came down and had lunch. We were planning to visit the Zoo Taiping during the day but it started pouring rain. It was so heavy. The zoo closes at 6pm and at 5pm, it was still raining heavily. So we decided to checked out and went to Ipoh and stayed at Aswi's cousin overnight.
Tuesday, Jan 8 - morning left Ipoh and went to Cameron Highland. By the time we arrived it was around 2pm and it was raining. So we just stayed in our hotel suite, sleeping and eating
Wednesday, Jan 9 - morning weather was great. So we all got ready and went to Bee Farm, Butterfly Farm and Strawberry Farm. By the time we finished visiting all three farms, it was getting cloudy and started to rain again. So we went back to hotel, had our lunch and stayed in our suite for the rest of the afternoon.
Thursday, Jan 10 - checked out hotel after breakfast and went back to KL.

Ammar Turns 1 Year Old
|
|
Today, my second prince turned 1 year old. He got up early than usual, at 6am. I gave him his milk but he decided not to go back to sleep. Instead, he decided to prevent his mother for sleeping another hour... 
Lots of things to update but for the past 1 month, I was super busy at work and by the time I reached home and spending time with my family, I just didn't have the time to sit in front of my notebook to download the pictures from the camera and update this FP. I was sick and tired of sitting in front of a computer all day long so going home was a relaxing time for me. Enough of computers!
Yesterday night I decided to push myself to sit in front of my computer to download about 300+ pictures from my camera. But then.... where is that cable?? I searched high and low but couldn't find the cable so now I can't download those pictures.  Hmm... where could it be???
Anyway, tonight will take Ammar for his birthday dinner (ibu and ayah are the one who going to eat, Ammar just making a mess ) We did have a small birthday party for Ammar last Saturday (Feb. 2nd), just my family members and my in-laws. He will have to wait until he is 2 years old to have a big birthday bash.

1. Happy 2nd Birthday, Danish.
On Saturday, Dec. 22 we went to Danish's 2nd birthday party at Cantumas Cafe, Setiawangsa. It was just across the street from our home. Amin just ignored everyone else when he found several toy cars. The cake was delicious too... very soft and moist.
2. Santa's Little Helper
Santa is very, very busy this Christmas, so decided to import more helpers... To get cheaper helpers, Santa decided to hire from China... 
3. Ammar's attempt to climb
On Friday night, Ibu took the kids to see their pead for checkup. Ammar has been coughing and I was afraid he's going to get bronchitis again. Amin was vomitting for the 3rd time when we arrived at the clinic, but after that, he was fine.
Ammar was able to climb the slide without any help.
4. Ammar's first few steps.
Ammar is 10 month old and he started walking since Hari Raya Haji but only today I was able to catch his video walking. You can view the video here.

Happy Birthday Naqib, Nelysa and Heleyna
|
|
On Saturday, Dec. 8th, we went to a birthday party for 3 siblings. Naqib turns 6 years old, Nelysa turns 4 years old and sweet Heleyna turns 1 year old. Amin had fun playing at the big yard and lots of cool toys.

My Ammar turned 10 months

Ammar turned 10 months on Wed., Dec. 5. He's learning to walk now and looooves to smile.
Anyway, Ibu is soooooo L.A.Z.Y lately. This weekend will try to snap latest pictures of you and update them here.

At 10 months, Ammar got his first haircut (after akikah last time).

Brooklands kini pengedar Citroen

KUALA LUMPUR 22 Nov. – Automobiles Citroen melantik Brooklands Motors Sdn. Bhd. (Brooklands) sebagai pengedar dan pengimport kenderaan buatan Perancis berjenama Citroen, baru-baru ini.
Perkembangan itu memperkukuhkan komitmen Brooklands yang sebelum ini dilantik sebagai pusat servis yang diiktiraf bagi Citroen pada tahun lalu bagi menggantikan Directional Malaysia.
Pengurus Besar Citroen Asia Selatan, Benoit de Lassus berkata, syarikat itu sudah berbincang dengan beberapa syarikat sejak dua tahun lalu untuk menjadi pengedar dan pengimport kenderaan Citroen.
“Akhirnya, kami memilih Brooklands Motors bagi kerja khidmat lepas jualan kepada pelanggan,” katanya dalam kenyataan di sini hari ini.
Majlis memeterai perjanjian pelantikan Brooklands Motors sebagai pengedar dan pengimport Citroen diadakan pada 12 November lalu.
Turut hadir ialah Pengurus Pemasaran Serantau, Ibu pejabat Serantau Citroen, Asia Selatan dan Asia Tenggara serta Hong Kong, Aswi Bujang dan Ketua Pegawai Operasi Brooklands, Melvinder Singh.
Menurutnya, Brooklands melakukan tugas dengan baik selepas dilantik sebagai pusat servis diiktiraf Citroen pada 2006 dan mereka mungkin mendapat kontrak bagi mengimport model terbaru Citroen ke pasaran tempatan.
Sementara itu, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif dan Pengarah Brooklands, Muhammad Fadhil Ahmad, berkata, bagi membuktikan komitmen, Brooklands Motors melabur kira-kira RM7 juta dengan membuka bilik pameran serta pusat servis di Kuala Lumpur, Pulau Pinang, Johor Bahru dan Kota Kinabalu.
Beliau berkata, sehingga kini pusat servis berkenaan sudah melakukan kerja penyelenggaraan lebih 2,000 buah model Citroen.
‘‘Pelantikan tersebut adalah satu pencapaian syarikat bagi mengedarkan kenderaan Citroen di negara ini.
‘‘Kami turut bercadang membuka beberapa cawangan baru dalam tempoh 12 bulan di Petaling Jaya, Kuantan dan Ipoh,’’ katanya.
Fadhil berkata, beberapa model baru bakal diperkenalkan pada tahun depan termasuk Grand C4 Picasso iaitu model kenderaan pelbagai guna (MPV) tujuh tempat duduk dengan enjin 2.0 liter.
‘‘Harga MPV berkenaan belum dimuktamadkan dan dijangka berharga sekitar RM160,000 hingga RM170,000 sebuah,’’ katanya.
Beliau berkata, Brooklands turut merancang memperkenalkan model popular C6.

SUBANG JAYA: Newly-appointed local sole importer and distributor of Citroen cars Brooklands Motors Sdn Bhd plans to open three more Citroen 3S centres – one each in Petaling Jaya, Ipoh and Kuantan – in the first half of next year.
Chief executive officer and director Muhammad Fadhil Ahmad said the new centres would strengthen the French carmaker's presence locally.
Additionally, Brooklands Motors will appoint five sales dealers – three in Kuala Lumpur and one each in Johor Baru and Penang.
“We are taking it one step at a time but we hope to recoup our investment from the Citroen distributorship within a three-year timeframe,” Fadhil said.
He said this at a ceremony to announce Brookland Motors as the sole importer and distributor of Citroen cars yesterday.
The company had also invested more than RM7mil to set up Citroen 3S centres in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Baru and Kota Kinabalu.
Brooklands Motors started rebuilding the Citroen brand image a year ago with the after-sales franchise.
Citroen regional general manager (South and South-East Asia and Hong Kong) Benoit de Lassus said Brooklands Motors had helped rebuild the Citroen brand in Malaysia since its appointment as Citroen authorised repairer last year.
“Malaysia remains one of the key Asian markets for Citroen with the biggest passenger car volume within the region.
“Many Citroen vehicles are still on the road and our strategy has been first to improve the quality of our after-sales by appointing a dedicated authorised repairer able to give back confidence to Citroen owners.”
He also said Citroen was confident of good sales in Malaysia based on the continuous eight-year growth of Citroen sales worldwide.
“We will introduce a range of new vehicles next year, including the new Grand C4 Picasso multi-purpose vehicle and the C6 premium sedan,” he said. |

Lake Garden 18.11.2007

This time, we brought along Amin and Ammar's cousins. Aunty Eman also came but Abg. Mie and Abg. Lee were not around.
We left Kajang (from Tok Ma's house) at around 9am and arrived at the Lake Garden about 20 minutes after that. Weather was getting hot but the kids were getting excited to play at the playground. Amin was trying to follow the others at first, but just couldn't keep up. In the end, he just played with Ibu at his favorite site.
Ammar was sleeping on the way to the lake garden. He woke up when we got there, so he didn't have enough sleep as usual. He was a bit cranky.
We left Lake Garden around 1pm. Before we left, Aunty Eman bought ice cream for everyone. So we all sat and ate before everybody got into our cars and fell asleep.
